The first Milepost given is the current one/ second MP is the Historic one used as the address of the places when the Alaska Hwy was first built.  Changes in the

Milepost are the result, of the Alaska Highway being re-routed, straightened, etc. over the years since it was constructed.  Very few actual milepost signs remain along the highway.

The numbers to the right are the distance from the preceding fuel stop, i.e. Wonowon is 18 miles from The Shepherd's Inn.  Double check my subtractions as there could be errors.
